Deputy Chairman of Sarawak Heart Foundation Datuk Amar Prof Dr Sim Kui Hian officiated at Heart Health 2026, an outreach to the community on increasing awareness on heart disease and stroke prevention and the importance of healthy and active lifestyles.

The awareness programme, a core activity of the Sarawak Heart Foundation, was a collaboration with various agencies : –

• Padawan Municipal Council provided the beautiful venue – the space and facilities and services in Rating and Valuation and Public Health.
• Sarawak Heart Centre’s doctors and nurses conducted the health screening and its physiotherapy team carried out FitCheck and InBody.
• Malaysian Red Crescent Society, Kuching Branch and Borneo Medical Centre conducted the blood donation.

Other agencies involved were :-

• Sarawak Welfare Services who assisted in Kenyalang Gold Card application and advice.
• Sarawak Pay
• Pay & Go
• Affin Bank

The event also featured music, dance and exercise by : –

• Chung Hua Middle School No. 1 Orchestra
• St Joseph’s Parish Ladies Guild Line Dance Group
• JC & St. Mark’s Dance Group
• Tai Chi Academy
