Our Core Activities
HEART TO HEART PROGRAMME
A collaboration between Sarawak Heart Foundation and Sarawak Heart Centre.
The Heart To Heart Programme provides financial assistance for poor children suffering from critical heart disease to undergo medical or surgical treatment or procedures, including heart operation, in a hospital within Malaysia. The patients, recommended by the Heart Centre would, otherwise, have to wait for a long time to receive treatment. This initiative will ensure the patients get due attention and treatment and, at the same time, help to ease the backlog of cases at the Heart Centre.
Criteria of eligibility
- Patients who have a good life span. Priority to young children who are born with heart defects.
- The family’s monthly income is not more than RM2,000.00.
